Creative idea

While in Austin Texas this week I saw these planter boxes and was inspired! I think I can make something similar myself and put either outside or inside.

Do these inspire you? If not, what inspires you to create? Please share with us!

How do they do it?

Good evening everyone,
I saw this article and thought to myself "How do they do it?" This couple lives in a space that has 240 sq. ft and they say they are comfortable! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Please take a moment and check out this page and at least check out the pictures and layout of the property and let us know if you could be "comfortable" in this house. I know Bo wouldn't last a weekend in this kind of environment!

Garbage Dump No More!!!!

Hey Everyone,
Check out this Natural Oasis that was transformed from a former garbage dump in Tianjin, China!!
It was made by a sustainable system called regenerative landscape design by Turenscape Architects.
It is a low-maintenance urban green space with plenty of ponds, vegetation and wildlife that features terraced gardens and red bridges!

Outdoor Craft Night!

Good Evening Everyone!
I spent my day working in the back yard, trying to get it ready for warm weather. We got the garden cleared out and new plants in. Spent time in the front yard clearing out leaves and weeds. We even put in more solar lights in the front and back yard. Next is the big stuff, which got me thinking about a couple things I want to make or purchase for our outdoor oasis.

So tonight I wanted to share something I will be making for my outdoor oasis! You can make your own firepit centerpieces! They are pretty simple and look fantastic. Check out this site I found and make one of your own today.

Save a life....

Good Evening Everyone,
We thought we would leave you with some very important information tonight on what to do when having a heart attack.

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN YOU ARE ALONE??

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating ...improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.

However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.

A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!

A cardiologist says If everyone who sees this post shares it to 10 people, you can bet that we'll save at least one life..

Rather than sharing jokes only please contribute by forwarding this info which can save a person's life..

Thank you and have a good night,

mmm low fat cheesecake....

Good Evening everyone!

Tonight I want to leave you salivating for this delicious dish! Thanks to the food network for the recipe.

Low-Fat Cheesecake
Recipe courtesy Food Network Magazine
Prep Time: 1 hr 0 min
Cook Time: 1 hr 10 min
Level: Easy
Serves: 14 servings

Ingredients

  • 9 whole low-fat cinnamon graham crackers, broken in half
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 8-ounce packages Neufchatel cream cheese, softened
  • 2 8-ounce packages fat-free cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • 2 large eggs plus 3 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • Assorted toppings

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Pulse the graham crackers in a food processor until crumbled. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons water and the butter; pulse until moistened. Wrap the outside of a 9-inch springform pan with foil to prevent leaks. Coat the inside of the pan with cooking spray and press the crumbs onto the bottom. Bake until browned, about 8 minutes. Let cool, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, beat both cream cheeses and the sugar with a mixer on medium-high speed until smooth, 5 minutes, then beat in the sour cream on low. Lightly whisk the 3 egg whites in a bowl, then add to the cheese mixture along with the 2 whole eggs, flour, vanilla and lemon zest. Beat on medium speed until fluffy, 3 minutes. Pour over the crust.
Place the cheesecake in a roasting pan and add enough warm water to come one-quarter of the way up the sides of the springform. Bake until the cake is set but the center still jiggles, about 1 hour 10 minutes. Turn off the oven; keep the cheesecake inside with the door closed for 20 minutes.
Remove the cake from the water bath and transfer to a rack. Run a knife around the edge, then cool completely. Chill until firm, at least 8 hours. Top as desired.
